At Apartmentalize in Chicago, NAA will be shining a spotlight on the charitable activities NAA affiliates, member companies and suppliers have undertaken since 2019 with a new #NAAGives exhibit wall at the conference.

RPM Careers Week & Onsite Teams Day: July 12-16

NAA is celebrating RPM Careers Week from July 12-16! RPM Careers Week is a great time for hiring personnel, whether they are onsite managers or corporate human resources managers, to evaluate incoming talent more effectively by exploring core competencies rather than just looking for previous apartment industry experience. On July 14, as part of the week’s activities, we’ll be celebrating Apartment Onsite Teams Day in honor of the dedication and contributions of apartment housing staff. A promotional toolkit is available for you and your members!

Government Affairs Roundtable (GART) & Legal Symposium: July 21-23

NAA’s 2021 Government Affairs Roundtable and Legal Symposium (GART) & Legal Symposium is a three-day, must attend networking and educational event for government affairs and legal professionals in Atlanta. This year’s will highlight market innovations, trends and challenges facing the rental housing industry, especially as we all forge ahead into a post pandemic world. Alex Jackiw Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship

Alex Jackiw, CAPS, CPM and former NAA Chair and NAAEI President, created this scholarship to increase diversity and inclusion in the rental housing profession by offering CAM and CAPS credentials to members of the following groups:

  • Racial/ethnic minority group
  • LGBTQ+
  • Persons with a disability
  • Former or serving members of the military

Innovation in Diversity & Inclusion (IDI) Grant

The Innovation in Diversity & Inclusion (IDI) Grant will be awarded to organizations that reflect NAA’s dedication to encouraging a workforce environment that is inclusive, supportive and rich in diversity by funding initiatives in Culture Diversity and Awareness in Education, Leadership Programs or Diversity and Inclusion Projects. Member associations, property management firms, supplier partners and related organizations are eligible to apply for this grant.

Deadline to apply is Friday, July 30.
