About the Speaker:
Nicole Upano, NAA Director of Public Policy
Nicole Upano serves as Director of Public Policy for the National Apartment Association. In this role, she leads the team within NAA that conducts policy research and analysis and develops advocacy resources in support of the apartment industry’s priorities at all levels of government. As a subject matter expert herself, Nicole specializes in fair housing, landlord-tenant, and property operations issues. Nicole calls Indiana home. She attended Indiana University, earning a B.A. in Political Science and Studio Art with a minor in Art History.
