EPA Section 608 Prep & Exam

This is an opportunity for maintenance technicians to become certified by the EPA to work with AC refrigerants. A technician must hold this certification in order to legally purchase or handle all refrigerants used in residential and commercial air conditioning systems. This class requires a $99.00 fee, plus cost of the EPA 608 booklet, which is available in the HD Supply catalog.  After the morning review session, the test will be administered by a Proctor for ESCO in accordance with EPA guidelines. Upon completion of the test, students will be dismissed for the day.
