Event Details

During these times of unrest, it is paramount to the success of the rental housing industry that we are careful and thoughtful of each other, especially to our colleagues, customers and in our communities. Their well-being is incumbent upon the creation and maintenance of a more inclusive and respectful environment in and around the rental housing industry.

Dr. Crouch, will discuss how diversity, equity and inclusion are important guidelines for leaders and apartment industry professionals to follow. From implicit bias impacting hiring practices to identifying the characteristics of an inclusive leader, participants will be given the tools to facilitate the personal and organizational development of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization. We are in this together and we will get through this together.

In this webinar, you’ll learn how to:

  • Create and foster a culture of respect and cultural competence
  • Identify blind spots on how unconscious bias impacts our decisions and choices
  • Describe and discuss the hiring process and implications
